Tara is a provisional psychologist currently completing her Master of Clinical Psychology at Federation University in Victoria. She has previously completed a Master of Professional Psychology at La Trobe University, a Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology (Advanced) at Deakin University, and a Graduate Diploma of Psychology at Monash University.
Tara has worked with families and young people with neurocognitive and developmental challenges, individuals with dual disabilities and their support networks, and rural and disadvantaged populations. She has provided psychological assessments and supported psychological recovery from trauma, sexual violence, and other adversities, including anxiety, depression, grief, and alcohol and other drug (AOD) concerns.
Over the past two years, Tara has also supported a longitudinal research study at the Royal Children’s Hospital, developing a strong understanding of how social determinants impact health and mental health across generations.
As a provisional psychologist, Tara is genuine, compassionate, and culturally attuned. She strives to work collaboratively with individuals to foster awareness, hope, meaning, and pathways toward living a full and fulfilling life.
