Wait times vary by clinician and referral type, and we aim to provide access to all services is processed in a timely manner.
First, obtain a referral from your GP or specialist. Then submit your referral via email to reception@zed3.com.au or call us on +61 2 6109 8830. Our team will review your referral and contact you to schedule an appointment.
Yes, a valid referral is required for all services. GP referrals are valid for 12 months, while specialist referrals are valid for 3 months. Referrals are necessary to access Medicare/DVA rebates.
Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to complete necessary paperwork. This includes consent forms and medical history questionnaires.
We require 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or non-attendance may incur a fee. Contact reception as soon as possible if you need to change your appointment.
Bring your referral letter (if not already submitted), photo ID, Medicare card, DVA card (if applicable), and a list of current medications with dosages. Previous mental health reports are also helpful if available.
Zed3 operates on a private billing model. Fees are payable in full at the time of consultation, and we process your Medicare/DVA claim electronically. The rebate is deposited into your nominated account within 3-5 days.
We accept EFTPOS (debit cards), Visa and MasterCard credit cards, and cheques. Cash is not accepted. All payments are cashless.
Yes. Medicare rebates apply to psychology and psychiatry when appropriately referred. DVA-eligible veterans may have no out-of-pocket costs for approved services. Private health insurance coverage varies by policy. See our Fees, Rebates & Referrals page for details.
