We're here to help you understand the process for infusion therapy. This page explains how to access ReviveMed, with clear steps covering eligibility, required documents, referral pathways, and funding options.
ReviveMed is available for people living with treatment-resistant mental health conditions, specifically depression, PTSD, suicidality, that haven't responded adequately to conventional treatments. This includes anyone facing complex mental health challenges, including veterans, serving ADF members, first responders, and private patients.
Clinical Eligibility is determined through comprehensive medical assessment, which considers:
A referral from your GP and treating psychiatrist is required to begin the eligibility assessment process. This ensures patient safety and confirms that infusion therapy is clinically appropriate for your circumstances.
For eligible DVA and Defence patients, there are no out-of-pocket costs. Learn more about veteran-specific pathways on our Veterans Services and ADF Support pages.
To assess eligibility and schedule your initial consultation, Zed3 requires specific documentation. Having these documents ready helps expedite the process:
A current referral letter outlining your mental health concerns, diagnosis, and treatment history. The referral should indicate that you're seeking assessment for infusion therapy. Note: Your GP referral is valid for 12 months.
A referral from your psychiatrist provides valuable clinical insight into your diagnosis, medication history, and treatment response. Note: Your psychiatrist's referral is valid for 3 months.
Ongoing psychological support is an important part of comprehensive mental health care, and having an established relationship with a psychologist ensures continuity of care throughout your infusion therapy journey.
Previous psychiatric reports, psychological assessments, medication trial history, and treatment summaries help our team understand what approaches have been attempted and their effectiveness.
The referral pathway for ReviveMed follows a clear, step-by-step process designed to ensure clinical suitability and patient safety.
