Jack Cooper

Jack is a registered Provisional Psychologist currently completing his Master of Clinical Psychology at the Institute of Social Neuroscience. He holds a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology, Honours) from the Queensland University of Technology where he completed his honours thesis on the cognitive and neurological mechanisms of trauma and conditioned fear responses.Professionally, Jack is experienced working across the lifespan in both public and private settings, primarily focusing on suicidality and self-harm, dual diagnosis substance use, grief, depression, and anxiety/stressor-based presentations. He values a strength-focused and empathetic approach drawing from a range of evidence-based practices.Jack works as a clinical claims specialist with Zed3 Veteran Services.
