Dr Howard is a psychiatrist based in a private practice in Melbourne, with 30 years' experience in the assessment and management of posttraumatic mental health conditions in veterans.
He is a former Director of Younger Veterans' Outpatient Programs and PTSD Programs at the Veterans' Psychiatry Unit at Austin Health in Heidelberg, Victoria and treats veterans, first responders and civilians with post-traumatic conditions in his private practice.
He is also experienced in rural psychiatry, telehealth and DVA report writing for veterans and ADF serving members.
Dr Howard works with the Zed3 Veteran Services team, conducting initial psychiatric assessments via telehealth for Australian Defence Force members and veterans.
