Dr Calina Ouliaris is a Consultant Psychiatrist with a subspecialisation in forensic psychiatry and a strong interest in integrating conventional psychiatric practice with holistic, evidence-informed approaches to mental health care. With formal studies in law, economics, medicine, and psychology, and over two decades of cross-sector experience spanning corporate,academic, and wellness settings, she brings a broad and integrated understanding of the many factors that shape mental wellbeing. Her clinical practice emphasises thoughtful, person-centred care grounded in evidence-based medicine and ethical practice.
Over the past decade, Dr Ouliaris has gained extensive experience across a wide range of mental health settings in Australia, including acute inpatient units, hospital-based consultation-liaison services, emergency mental health services, community clinics, forensic medium-and high-secure facilities, correctional settings, and tertiary referra lservices. She has a particular interest in complex presentations at the intersection of clinical, legal, and ethical frameworks, and has contributed to professional discourse through academic writing and advocacy for individualised approaches to care.
Dr Ouliaris has a strong respect for individual values and strives to provide care that recognises and honours the complexity of each person’s lived experience.
She is currently working withthe Zed3 Veteran Services team, conducting initial psychiatric assessments via telehealth for Australian Defence Force members and veterans.
